Last night i watched the lions play the pumas i have rarely seen such a lack-lustre display from the so called best in the British isle's but all credit has to go to the Argentinian team of which several came out of retirement to play the game and some retired after the game. I don't know who the commentator was but i have never heard so many excuses , even Celtic supporters could'nt think up so many.

Credit to Argentina though - missing 29 players ..... only that lazy sack of shit, Felipe Contepomi was available. Woodward will be hoping they get displays like that out of their system before they play Bay of Plenty in 2 weeks time. Frankly I can't see Byrne, Hayes, Hickie and a lot of the other players who played actually starting any of the tests against the All Blacks.
Only Wilkinson, D'Arcy and O'Callaghan can realistically expect to be in the match 22 - a lot of the others won't even be midweek dirt trackers.
