Not bloody bad at all!!!! We got hammered by Rathdrum in our first game of the season but beat Athboy in our second one. Most of the team went off on a whoring expedition to Amsterdam last weekend and then played Gouda last Saturday - won 50-10. Sets us up nicely for the Blitzes which start this weekend....

who do you play for? we must arrange a end of season match or something, off to ballinahinch this weekend. the last time we played up there it was the semi-final of the cup and we beat them and it was fenian bastards this and that from the sideline.
Never heard that kind of shit at a rugby match until last year and we started winning matches we possibly should'nt have, in relation to referees and the system not because we could'nt play.

Not the sort of stuff you want to hear at a rugby game at all. I play for Unidare...... Leinster J4 so pretty mediocre stuff it has to be said. The blitz got called off this weekend - typical Leinster branch incompetence so we're playing Coolmine's seconds on Saturday instead. They're at least 2 divisions above us and half our team will be missing - we're going to be annihilated. Also, our coach in his infinite wisdom decided to have a full contact training session tonight - backs v forwards..... net result - two more guys added to the injury list. Had a good laugh at the Leinster v Ulster game last weekend - was behind the Ulster posts for the first half and slagged the shit out of Paddy Wallace with shounts of "have you grown a backbone yet?" or "show us the yellow line down your back..." and "you'll never play for Ireland" ;D When the fist fight broke out on the 22 we all shouted.... DECK THE RACIST!!!!when Gissing squared up to Harrison. However, we kept very quiet when we bumped into Harrison after the match - the guy is fucking huuuuuge!

Believe it or not, we actually won last weekend 22-21! Went 12-0 up inside 15 minutes and then sat back and they went 14-12 ahead. We nicked a try just before half time and led 19-12 for the majority of the second half camped on their bloody line and had 3 tries disallowed because the ref didn't see the ball grounded. Typically, they won 2 penalties and scored a try which was converted from the touchline and we were trailing 21-19 with 10 minutes to go. Nicked a penalty with 5 left and scored and then were all over them until the final whistle. This weekend - a blitz out in ALSAA's grounds. ALSAA are called Swords now and we also play Coolmine and Athboy again. Sweet seeing that we've beaten those two already in full 80 minute matches. The game against Swords will be a fucking fist fight though - we hate them and thye hate us. ;D ;D

well you know all about those man bags.
Not one orange man on or team as you mentioned somewhere before that is why it was such an achievement to win something last year let alone a double.
and i was that pissed and laughing in the buckets of portar episode that it was only when we where on it that i understood we where driving the wrong way up the one way sysytem.

Probably a similar enough level to us - perhaps a bit higher. We did ok in the blitz - Athboy only brought 11 guys so they were split up between Sutton and ALSAA while Coolmine had a full panel. Lost 2-1 to Coolmine (just tries, no penalties, conversions etc), drew 0-0 with Sutton and beat ALSAA 1-0. Should have beaten Coolmine but 2 slips and they were in.... Anyhoo - Wanderers, Terenue, Railway Union and ALSAA (again) this weekend out in Wanderers' club. Should win 2, possibly 3 - Terenure will be tough but they always are.

good luck! we have won our first three matches fairly convincingly but tomorrow should be a test against rainey old boys from magherafelt good shash country.
We have had some problems with injuries but with a full squad we should be able to handle it.
Can't wait to see lynch playing rugby sometime. then we will see who's gay.

Very good day today - steamrolled Terenure 3-0, hammered Swords 4-0, unfortunately lost to Wanderers 3-1 - too many lapses in concentration and weren't tuned in but won the last 3-1 against Railway Union. So, all in all, a satisfactory game - particularly seeing that Terenure had been unbeaten in their matches so far this season. Wanderers were HUGE!!!!! Very well disciplined but also a bit of dirt thrown in as well.

was playing rugby NB long before you were even thinking about it !
played a couple of games about 8 or 9 years ago for guinnesses second team but it started to clash with playing Gaelic football so had to give up one - and Gaelic football was always going to win out there !
was going to go play along with waynes team last year, but given my crippled state, some rugby playing friends of mine advised against it - esp as they wanted someone for the pack ...and I was only ever used to playing outhalf or full back
