Ah Lordy no!!!! Athboy, North Kildare and Parkmore - most definitely. WRT Terenure, Lansdowne etc - these would be their 3rds or 4ths (certainly 4ths in the case of Terenure) Coolmine - their seconds. Mixture of 2nds, 3rds etc but all around the same quality. The Branch have to be careful this season and make sure games are scheduled so teams are unable to put out their 2nds in a league several divisions below them. It happened us twice last year.

sounds something similar to us but we would play alot of second teams mostly from belfast where all the clubs would have players who come to them straight from school after i suppose 8 years of learning the game and thats why we enjoy beating their asses as 9 out of our 15 never played 2 years ago.

Fantastic stuff, one of the best performances we've put in for a very long time.

Nope - our 13 scored our 2 tries and our kicker nailed 2 conversions and 3 penalties. They scored 2 tries but they both went in on the opposite wing so I couldn't be blamed.

Won't be playing unfortunately - I miss our next 2 games against Parkmore tomorrow and North Kildare next week because I'll be in the States. Means I'll have to fight to get my place back in the starting 15 when I get home. At this stage I'm thinking of moving inside to 13 - just can't get the old speed back this season and I've <ahem> "bulked up" a wee bit. Also, the wing can be the most boring place on the pitch. You do nothing for the whole game apart from chase back for kicks aimed over your head or end up facing a 3 on 1 overlap because the forwards are stuck in a ruck on the far side of the pitch.

they cried off on friday evening becuse they said the weather was too bad, the weather was perfect on saturday for rugby, more excuses because they could'nt raise a team.

Beat Instonians 6-0 to go joint top of the league it was a very tight match with 2 penalties in each half from me winning it! these's where posh fuckers who live on the Malone road and real british public school boys getting beat by paddy and mickey as lynch put it from Donegal, unheard of before. tough grudge match next weekend at home with the team we caught cheating playing, players from a higher league.

Beat North Kildare 64-0 last week. No ref available but we only played 55 minutes. So the result doesn't count in the league. As a result, the Blitz final has ben postponed and we replay them next weekend. HOWEVER we beat Suttonians 42-0 yesterday!!!! ;D Fantastic performance although I think I boke my nose...... ;D

got beaten 23-10 on saturday and even the referee who was from armagh said he thought he saw some of their team play for there 1st and 2nd team before, but as he said unless you can prove it and name, names there is no point in following it up. i don't mind loosing fairly!
a bit dissappointing as we gave the game to them with 4 or 5 penalties which they converted, but thats rugby anyway glad you are doing well

Top of the League with 3 wins from 3. We replay the North Kildare fixture this Saturday but I have a feeling they may well drop out/postpone - "near Christmas, lack of numbers etc...."
i.e. they don't want to get another hammering. Another team dished out the 4th thumping in a row to them at the weekend.

we are away to CIYMS in the cup they are a division higher than us , so we will have to see what happens, we have a different team out every week, which you know yourself dose'nt work especially as, we have moved up several divisions.
so i am not expecting a win but you never know good luck yourself and play well play hard!
