They still have the €1 a bottle offer still going on. San Miguel, Fosters, Stella and Rolling Rock.
A God-send to all us "at-home drinkers". Stock up gentlemen, we don't know how much longer these offers will last. ;D

How much is that in real money ;D, over here most offy's will usually have a deal going, 6 for £5 or 8 for £6, is that about the same in Ireland, wine here starts at £3 so for between £4 & £5 with an offer you can get a £6 or £7 bottle for say £4.50, are we able to drink ourselves to death cheaper here. In the pub last night i got 6 bottles of Castle (South African) in an ice bucket for a tenner and very nice it was too.

"Real money"? As in the "Queen's money"? €1 = £0.67 so very good value. ;D
6 bottles of Catle in an ice bucket for a tenner? Wow, nice one. Castle isn't too bad either. Much better than Stella anyway. You can get it in a few specialist off-licences here but it's not widely available. My heart is still palpatating from when I was charged €6 for a bottle of beer in a pub last week. I nearly dropped dead on the spot from the shock.

In the Edinburgh city centre which is dear by Scottish standards you would expect to pay around £2.60 for a pint of Guinness, lager and beer would be around 10 or 15 pence cheaper, the dearest i've paid was £2.95, nearly told the fecker to keep the change.

£2.60 in Embra ...... about €3.90 - yeah, that would be the price of a Guinness in a fair amount of pubs in Dublin.
